Job Description
- Manage all financial reporting and budgeting processes in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Oversee cash flow, financial planning, and risk management activities.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management for decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial legislation.
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor internal controls and implement improvements where necessary.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors for financial audits.
- Support strategic planning by providing financial insights and recommendations.
A Successful Financial Controller Should Have
- A recognised degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
- Experience in financial management within the industrial/manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Monthly salary range: MYR 20,000 - MYR 25,000.
