Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities
- Coordinate actions between Operations teams in Asia and all stakeholders (IT, Compliance, Legal, Front Office)
- Be in charge of PMO activities (planning, governance, reporting, dashboards and progress reports, etc.)
- Collect and formalize user business requirements, prepare test cases for the operational teams, and act as a liaison between users and IT teams during projects
- Maintain an up-to-date RAID log and provide up-to-date project status reports to various forums, in both written and verbal form
- Carry out studies on existing set-ups to identify areas for improvement
- Prepare and implement Change Management plans for Operations teams
- Participate in transversal projects
Experience/ Skills Required
Education
- Master's degree, with a strong academic background in Financial Engineering, Finance, Economics or Engineering
Experience
- 3 to 5 years' minimum experience in Project Management, including prior experience in Investment Banking Operations
- PM experience on offshoring projects highly required, or at least on reorganizational projects
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent Project Management skills and stakeholders' management
- Good knowledge of the Operations department in an Investment Bank, with solid product knowledge
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to propose solutions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other PC applications
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
- Self-motivated, disciplined, solution-oriented and team-oriented, with strong attention to detail and a sense of commitment and responsibility.
