City University Malaysia Hiring! Full Time Senior Lecturer – Educational Leadership in Selangor, Earn up to MYR 6,500 - Ricebowl

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated academic to join our team as a Senior Lecturer in Educational Leadership. The successful candidate will contribute to high-quality teaching, research, postgraduate supervision, curriculum development, and academic leadership in the field of Educational Leadership and related areas.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, seminars and other teaching and learning activities in Educational Leadership and related disciplines at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Develop, review and enhance curriculum, course content, teaching materials and assessments in line with academic and professional standards.
• Supervise postgraduate students, research projects, dissertations and theses, where applicable.
• Conduct and publish high-quality research in Educational Leadership, Educational Management, Education Policy or related areas.
• Contribute to research publications, conferences, scholarly activities and research collaborations.
• Provide academic guidance, mentoring and support to students.
• Participate in programme development, programme review, accreditation and academic quality assurance activities.
• Contribute to academic leadership and administrative responsibilities within the department and faculty.
• Establish and maintain professional engagement with schools, educational institutions, government agencies, industry and other relevant stakeholders.
• Keep abreast of current developments, policies and emerging trends in education, leadership and educational management.
• Participate in departmental, faculty and institutional committees, meetings, events and other academic activities.
• Perform other academic and administrative duties as assigned by the Head of Department/Dean.

Requirements

• Possess a PhD or Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership, Educational Management, Education Administration, Education Policy, or a closely related field from a recognised institution.
• Possess relevant teaching experience at tertiary level, preferably at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Demonstrate a strong track record in research, publications and scholarly activities in Educational Leadership or related fields.
• Experience in supervising postgraduate research, dissertations and/or theses is highly desirable.
• Experience in curriculum development, programme review, accreditation and academic quality assurance is an added advantage.
• Prior leadership experience in an educational setting, such as Head of Programme, Head of Department, Principal, Academic Coordinator or other relevant leadership role, is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of contemporary issues, policies and practices in educational leadership, management and administration.
• Strong communication, presentation, leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
