Our client is a technology-driven organisation delivering complex digital transformation initiatives within the banking sector. This role places you at the centre of quality assurance leadership - driving test strategy, strengthening testing governance, managing complex testing streams, and ensuring high-quality delivery across critical banking platforms.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, project leaders, and delivery teams to establish robust testing practices and deliver reliable digital solutions at scale.

Lead, govern, deliver - here's what you'll be responsible for:

• Own and drive end-to-end testing strategy across functional, non-functional, and data testing domains
  
• Lead test planning, execution, reporting, and delivery assurance for complex banking technology initiatives
  
• Establish and enhance testing governance frameworks, standards, processes, and best practices across delivery teams
  
• Define testing approaches covering functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, performance testing, security testing, and operational readiness testing
  
• Drive data test management activities including test data planning, preparation, validation, migration testing, and data quality assurance
  
• Partner with Business, Product Owners, Technology Leads, Project Managers, and senior stakeholders to align testing objectives with business outcomes
  
• Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to testing teams across multiple workstreams
  
• Monitor testing progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and provide clear reporting to governance forums and senior management
  
• Ensure testing delivery aligns with regulatory requirements, banking standards, and enterprise quality frameworks
  
• Identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency through automation, process improvements, and innovative testing practices
  
  
  

A strong banking technology testing leader with excellent governance and stakeholder management capabilities:

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
  
• Extensive experience in software testing, quality assurance, and test leadership roles within banking or financial services environments
  
• Proven experience leading functional testing, non-functional testing, and enterprise-level testing programmes
  
• Strong understanding of banking applications, processes, platforms, and technology landscapes
  
• Experience establishing and managing testing governance frameworks, standards, and quality assurance practices
  
• Hands-on experience managing test data strategy, test environments, and data quality considerations
  
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide testing teams and influence delivery outcomes
  
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage business users, technology teams, vendors, and senior leadership
  
• Experience working in Agile, hybrid, or large-scale transformation delivery environments
  
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and reporting skills
  
• Experience managing risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery challenges across complex programmes
  
• Professional testing certifications such as ISTQB or equivalent are advantageous
