Job Summary

We are looking for a System Stress Lab Technician to support system stress testing and laboratory operations in Kulim. The role involves hardware/platform setup, PC assembly, stress testing, hardware troubleshooting, inventory management, and lab equipment support.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and configure PCs, test platforms, equipment racks, cabling, and liquid cooling systems for stress testing.
• Set up and use measurement equipment such as multimeters, temperature probes, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.
• Execute system stress tests according to established procedures.
• Monitor testing activities and perform basic hardware debugging and troubleshooting.
• Record and report quality issues through the Process Trouble Report (PTR) system.
• Manage platform hardware and High Value Inventory (HVI), including tracking, documentation, and audits.
• Support shipping and receiving of lab equipment and test hardware.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure proper storage and handling of hardware/components.
• Support laboratory equipment troubleshooting, maintenance, and calibration.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
• Work closely with engineering teams on test requirements and procedures.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Technical, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in PC platform-related work or relevant technical experience.
• Strong PC assembly and hardware troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with system stress testing or hardware validation is preferred.
• Comfortable working onsite in a laboratory environment.
• Willing to work shifts when required.
