The incumbent will support the procurement of non-standardised consumables for departments in Dover Park Hospice, ensuring competitive pricing, timely purchasing and continuity of supply through effective supplier management.

Key Responsibilities

• Source non-standardised consumables and obtain competitive quotations and pricing

• Maintain a pool of alternative suppliers to support continuity of supply and minimise potential disruptions

• Process purchase requests and raise purchase orders in accordance with procurement procedures

• Monitor purchasing patterns and usage, and identify opportunities to consolidate recurring purchases through blanket orders

• Support tender administration, including documentation, coordination and maintenance of procurement records

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

• Diploma in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement or a related discipline, or equivalent qualification

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in purchasing or procurement

• Experience in healthcare, institutional or similar regulated environments will be an advantage

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel

• Meticulous, organised and able to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders

The successful candidate can expect a monthly basic salary up to $4,200, commensurate with experience.
