Job Summary
Chef responsible for preparing South and North Indian dishes across all departments, including starters, main courses, and desserts, under the guidance of the Head Chef. Ensures food quality and timely preparation in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare daily food orders accurately according to established recipes to maintain consistent dish quality
Cook food efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen to meet restaurant demand and service timelines
Apply expert knowledge of South and North Indian vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisines to deliver authentic dishes
Develop new recipes and menu ideas to enhance the restaurant’s offerings and customer satisfaction
Follow directions precisely to replicate restaurant dishes consistently and uphold quality standards
Support food preparation for event catering to extend service capabilities and meet client needs
Required competencies and certifications
Minimum 5 years of professional cooking experience in a related culinary field
Diploma in any field as a baseline educational qualification
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Culinary certifications relevant to Indian cuisine or professional cooking
Experience or knowledge in food preparation for event catering

Full-time position with a 6-day work week and 12-hour shifts daily
