About you

• Preferably a Diploma/Degree in Sales & Marketing or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of proven, relevant sales experience (retail or consumer products background highly advantageous)
• Strong, verifiable track record of sales success and achieving targets
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a strong customer-driven focus
• Highly resourceful, adaptable, and possess a high level of commitment to excel in a dynamic environment
• Excellent business acumen with acute sensitivity to market trends, conditions, and new business requirements
• Experience in opening up new market territories is a definite asset
• Candidates with experience in consumer durables and building distribution networks will have a distinct advantage
• Ability to travel frequently as required

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage sales functions to consistently achieve and exceed targets
• Be the primary point of contact, ensuring exceptional service and seamless order processing for valued clients
• Proactively scout, develop, and strategically launch new and emerging business opportunities and product lines
• Conduct in-depth market analysis, monitoring competitor activities, pricing, and new product launches to inform sales strategies
• Plan and execute impactful sales promotional activities, including trade fairs and exhibitions, to maximize brand visibility and exposure
• Continuously identify and propose improvements based on industry trends, market activities, and competitor insights
• Ensure seamless communication and high-quality execution by effectively liaising with internal departments and external partners
