Mission Details:
As the Regional Supply Chain Excellence, Logistics Procurement, Customs & Data Governance Leader for APoC (APAC region excluding China), you will play a pivotal role in shaping and advancing Supply Chain performance across the region. You will drive operational excellence, lead strategic transformation initiatives, and foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Excellence & Transformation:
- Champion Supply Chain process optimization and operational excellence initiatives across APoC.
- Lead regional Business Process Owners to standardize processes, enhance efficiency, and accelerate continuous improvement.
- Drive major transformation programs, including global system deployments, core model rollouts, and Supply Chain digitalization initiatives.
- Monitor and elevate Supply Chain performance through KPI governance and process maturity development.
- Strengthen organizational capabilities by developing key user networks, promoting best practices, and building Supply Chain talent across the region.
Logistics Procurement & Network Optimization:
- Lead regional logistics procurement strategies and manage key logistics service providers.
- Support logistics tenders, supplier selection, and contract negotiations to secure best-in-class service and value.
- Drive transportation and logistics cost optimization while improving service quality and network efficiency.
- Ensure full compliance with procurement, logistics, and HSEQ standards and policies.
Customs Compliance & Trade Excellence:
- Oversee customs compliance and risk management activities across APoC.
- Provide expert guidance on customs regulations, tariff classification, origin determination, and international trade requirements.
- Track customs performance through KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote trade compliance best practices and develop customs expertise throughout the region.
Data Governance & Business Enablement:
- Lead Data Governance initiatives and foster a strong data-driven culture.
- Ensure master data integrity through governance frameworks, audits, training, and corrective actions.
- Support business integration programs, system implementations, and data-related transformation projects.
- Drive data quality excellence to enable informed decision-making and operational performance.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management:
- Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing team while managing departmental budgets and resources.
- Build strong partnerships across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, HSEQ, Finance, IT, and business leadership teams.
- Act as a change agent, driving engagement, organizational transformation, and adoption of new ways of working.
- Promote Supply Chain achievements and contribute to the region's strategic growth ambitions.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive Supply Chain leadership experience within complex, multinational environments.
- Strong expertise in Supply Chain operations, logistics, and end-to-end process management.
- Proven track record leading large-scale transformation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Strong project management capabilities with hands-on experience in Lean methodologies.
- APICS certification and/or Lean Six Sigma certification would be a strong advantage.
- Solid knowledge of SAP and enterprise business systems.
- Good understanding of financial principles and performance management.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders, lead cross-functional teams, and drive change in a matrix organization.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills in an international environment.
