Civil & Structural Engineer

LSW Consulting Engineers is seeking a Civil & Structural Engineer to support the design and technical delivery of civil and structural engineering projects. The position involves design calculations, drawing preparation, technical coordination and support throughout project execution.

The role provides an opportunity to work across different stages of engineering work, from reviewing project requirements and developing designs to coordinating technical matters during construction.

Responsibilities

Prepare civil and structural engineering calculations, drawings and design documents.
Assist in the development of structural schemes and engineering solutions for assigned projects.
Review architectural and engineering drawings to identify coordination issues.
Liaise with architects, contractors, consultants and other project parties on technical matters.
Attend site inspections and provide engineering input when required.
Review construction details and assist with resolving technical issues encountered on site.
Prepare design submissions, reports and other project documentation.
Track design changes and maintain accurate records of drawings and calculations.
Support project deliverables and ensure assigned work is completed within agreed timelines.
Carry out work in accordance with relevant Singapore codes, standards and project requirements.

Requirements

Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognised institution.
Previous experience in civil and structural consultancy or related engineering work is preferred.
Understanding of structural design principles, engineering calculations and technical drawings.
Familiarity with relevant Singapore codes and standards will be an advantage.
Able to use engineering and drafting software relevant to civil or structural work.
Good numerical, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Clear communication skills and a practical approach to technical coordination.
Able to work independently while contributing to a project team.

Pay: $3,300.00 - $4,500.00 per month
