Full Stack DeveloperJob Purpose

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with hands-on experience building and maintaining modern web applications using Angular and Node.js, with a solid understanding of cloud platforms and databases. Familiarity with AI technologies is a strong plus.

The right candidate should be adaptable, open to learning, and comfortable working with different technology stacks as needed.

Main Accountabilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Angular (frontend) and Node.js (backend).
• Design, implement, and manage databases using PostgreSQL.
• Deploy, monitor, and manage applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Integrate AI features into applications where applicable.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Ensure high performance, security, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and resolve bugs and technical issues across the stack.
• Contribute to code reviews and continuous improvement efforts.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend their adoption where beneficial.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer, preferably in a similar-sized organisation and/or industry.
• Strong track record of delivering production-ready applications.
• Previous experience with cloud-native applications, preferably on GCP.
• Familiarity with integrating AI or machine learning components into web applications.
• Exposure to mobile application development, including Flutter, React Native, or native Swift.
• Experience working in Agile development teams, including code reviews, design discussions, and release planning.

Must-Have Skills

• Proficiency in Angular and Node.js for web application development.
• Experience with PostgreSQL for database design and management.
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for deploying and managing applications.
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of web application security best practices, including:
• Secure authentication
• Data protection
• Vulnerability prevention
• Effective communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their practical use in web development.
• Proficiency in additional languages such as:
• Python
• TypeScript
• Rust
• Swift
• Kotlin
• Exposure to other JavaScript frameworks such as React.js or Vue.js.
• Knowledge of CSS utility frameworks such as Tailwind CSS.
• Knowledge of other API platforms such as:
• GraphQL
• SOAP
• WebSocket
• Familiarity with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Understanding of DevOps workflows, including:
• CI/CD pipelines
• Git
• Docker/containerisation
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation skills.

Experience

3–5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a similar-sized organisation and/or similar industry.
