Suntar International Group Hiring! Full Time Electrical Engineer (Fresh Graduate - Mandarin Speaker) in Johor - Ricebowl

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer (Mandarin Speaker & Fresh Graduate) to support the engineering, project execution, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and technical documentation of electrical and instrumentation systems.

The successful candidate should have practical experience in electrical engineering, instrumentation, automation systems, engineering drawings, and project execution, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively across project and site environments.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle, from engineering and design through installation, testing, commissioning, and project completion.
• Participate in project execution and provide technical support at project sites when required.
• Prepare, review, and maintain electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, wiring layouts, and other engineering drawings.
• Develop electrical specifications, technical reports, manuals, procedures, and related project documentation.
• Conduct and support electrical testing and commissioning activities.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical and technical issues during project execution and commissioning.
• Ensure engineering deliverables are accurate, complete, and aligned with project requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in electrical engineering, project engineering, service engineering, testing and commissioning, or a similar technical role.
• Practical experience with electrical systems, instrumentation, and automation systems.
• Experience with PLC/DCS/SCADA systems is an advantage.
• Familiarity with field instruments such as transmitters, gauges, control valves, and flowmeters.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, instrument indexes, loop diagrams, wiring drawings, and electrical schematics.
• Experience preparing or reviewing electrical drawings and technical reports.
• Knowledge of electrical testing and commissioning processes.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar CAD software.
• Knowledge of IEC, ISA, DOSH, and SIRIM standards.
• Knowledge or exposure to ATEX/IECEx hazardous area classification is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good technical documentation and communication skills.
• Willingness to work on-site and travel for project assignments.
• Willingness to relocate and undertake overseas project assignments when required.
