Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Shah Alam, focused on Supplier Value & Risk Management across DRB-HICOM’s diverse operations. The role involves assessing supplier performance and value contributions, monitoring key risk indicators, and supporting the development and implementation of supplier risk mitigation plans. Responsibilities include conducting regular supplier evaluations, coordinating audits and compliance checks, and maintaining accurate records and dashboards to support decision-making. The role also entails collaborating with procurement, finance, operations, and quality teams to align supplier strategies with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will help drive continuous improvement in supplier relationship management, cost efficiency, and supply chain resilience.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and risk assessment skills, including the ability to interpret supplier performance metrics and financial data.
  • Experience in procurement, supply chain management, or vendor management, preferably within large or diversified organizations.
  • Ability to develop and implement supplier governance frameworks, including compliance, audit, and performance review processes.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and levels.
  • Proficiency in using spreadsheets, dashboards, and enterprise systems to track supplier risk and value indicators.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Engineering, or a related field; professional certifications in procurement or risk management are an advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple supplier-related projects and timelines.
  • Understanding of relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in supplier risk management.
