OPT Machine Vision Hiring! Full Time Technical Sales Engineer in Selangor - Ricebowl

What You'll Do:

1. Market Development & Business Growth

• Lead local market development by building and sustaining strong, long-term relationships with partners, system integrators, and customers.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target industries and regions assigned.
• Support strategic initiatives to expand OPT’s market presence in this assigned regions.
• Drive brand visibility by planning and executing marketing campaigns, exhibitions, and trade shows.

2. Sales Execution & Customer Acquisition

• Proactively expand the customer base, maintain a robust customer database, and consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.
• Manage all sales inquiries, complaints, and orders, ensuring precise entry and follow-up within the sales management system.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery.

3. Customer Relationship Management

• Own customer relationship management while actively monitoring competitors’ strategies, pricing, and market movements.
• Deliver end-to-end pre-sales and post-sales support to maximize customer satisfaction and retention.

4. Strategy, Compliance & Reporting

• Report directly to the Sales Director.
• Contribute insight to products positioning, pricing strategies and marketing campaigns.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of all required sales reports in line with company standards and policies.

What You'll Bring:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical & Electronics, Software, Mechanical, Automation or related fields.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in machine vision or related industries will be an added advantage.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) with excellent communication skills and a strong customer-focused approach.
• Demonstrated development and project management capabilities, able to perform effectively under pressure and consistently drive initiatives to completion.
• Maintain a professional, positive, and approachable attitude, demonstrating politeness, patience, and strong collaboration in all user interactions.
• Assess customer requirements and deliver customized industrial computer and automation solutions.
• Passion for innovation and customer success.
• Analyze customer requirements and recommend industrial computers and automation solutions tailored to their needs.
• Conduct product demonstrations, deliver technical presentations, and lead proof-of-concept trials.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to customize solutions for client needs.
