We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to be part of our day-to-day customer support function.
You will be one of the points of contact for customers, helping with general enquiries, service requests and follow-ups. The role also involves updating records, coordinating with colleagues and making sure customer requests are handled properly.
This position is suitable for someone who is patient, organised and comfortable communicating with customers on a regular basis.
What you'll handle
Customer enquiries
- Respond to customer questions through phone, email and other company communication channels.
- Understand the nature of each enquiry and provide accurate information where possible.
- Direct requests that require specialist assistance to the appropriate colleague.
- Follow up with customers when additional information or confirmation is required.
Service requests
- Receive and record customer requests and service-related issues.
- Coordinate internally to ensure requests are assigned and followed up.
- Keep customers updated when a request requires additional time.
- Escalate unresolved or urgent matters according to company procedures.
Records & administration
- Maintain accurate customer information and service records.
- Update internal systems, spreadsheets or tracking documents.
- Keep track of pending enquiries and outstanding follow-ups.
- Assist with routine documentation and administrative tasks.
Customer experience
- Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Handle routine complaints calmly and escalate issues when appropriate.
- Follow up on completed requests where necessary.
- Identify recurring customer questions or issues and share useful feedback with the team.
Team support
- Coordinate with colleagues to obtain information required to respond to customers.
- Assist other departments with customer-related information when required.
- Support general office and customer service activities during busy periods.
What we're looking forYou should have
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Business, Customer Service, Administration, Hospitality or a related field.
- Around 1–2 years of experience in customer service, front-line support, administration or a similar position.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Clear and professional communication skills.
- Comfortable using email, spreadsheets and standard office software.
- Good attention to detail when recording customer information.
- Able to organise several requests and follow-ups at the same time.
- Patient and professional when dealing with different types of customers.
It would be useful if you have
- Experience using CRM or customer service systems.
- Previous experience in an office-services, B2B or service-based environment.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Experience handling customer complaints or service escalations.
Relevant customer-facing experience will also be considered.
What matters in this role
Customers don't always contact a business with a simple question.
Some requests can be resolved immediately. Others need information from another department, a follow-up call or additional checking.
You should therefore be comfortable taking ownership of a request, keeping track of what needs to happen next and making sure the customer is not left waiting without an update.
