Job Description
- Coordinate all M&E works with architectural, structural and site teams
- Review M&E drawings, shop drawings, coordination drawings and technical submissions
- Coordinate closely with consultants, M&E subcontractors, suppliers and relevant project stakeholders
- Conduct site inspections and monitor M&E installation progress
- Identify M&E clashes, design discrepancies and technical issues before installation
- Follow up on RFI, material submissions, method statements, shop drawings and inspection requirements
- Monitor testing & commissioning, authority inspections and handover documentation
- Ensure M&E works comply with approved drawings, specifications, authority requirements and project schedules
- Coordinate and support project requirements relating to BCA Green Mark, sustainability and energy-efficiency measures
- Ensure Green Mark-related M&E requirements are properly implemented, documented and coordinated where applicable
- Support the Project Manager in resolving technical, construction and coordination issues
- Assist in planning and coordinating M&E works throughout the New Build project lifecycle, from construction to testing, commissioning and handover
Job Requirements
- Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 2 years of relevant M&E experience in Singapore's construction industry
- Experience in New Build projects (BTO, D&B, etc.) is an advantage
- Knowledge or practical experience with BCA Green Mark requirements, sustainability initiatives and green building practices will be an advantage
- Good understanding of M&E drawings, specifications, coordination drawings and construction requirements
- Able to coordinate M&E works with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and site/project teams
- Able to identify and resolve M&E clashes, interface issues and site coordination problems
- Familiar with inspections, testing & commissioning, authority submissions and project documentation
- Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills
Digital & Technical Skills
We are particularly interested in candidates who are comfortable using construction and digital coordination tools, including:
- AutoCAD
- BIM / Revit / Glodon or other BIM coordination tools
- Microsoft Office
- Microsoft Project
- Digital drawing review, document control and project coordination platforms
- Familiarity with BIM clash detection and coordination workflows will be an advantage
Pay: $3,000.00 - $4,200.00 per month
