Job Description

• Oversee the overall operations and management of the preschool.

• Lead, mentor, and support teaching and administrative staff to ensure high-quality education and care.

• Ensure compliance with ECDA regulations, licensing requirements, and centre policies.

• Manage curriculum implementation and maintain high standards of teaching and learning.

• Foster a positive, safe, and nurturing environment for children, staff, and families.

• Build strong relationships with parents and the community through effective communication.

• Manage enrolment, staffing, budgeting, and the day-to-day administrative functions of the centre.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of the preschool’s programmes and services.

Requirements

• ECDA-recognised qualifications relevant to a Preschool Principal position.

• Proven experience in preschool leadership and centre management.

• Strong knowledge of preschool operations, curriculum implementation, and ECDA regulations.

• Excellent leadership, organisational, and people management skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Passionate about early childhood education with a high level of professionalism and responsibility.

• Relevant preschool management experience is preferred.
