Role Description

The Software Engineer (Artificial Intelligence) will design, develop, and maintain AI-powered applications and backend services supporting products such as AiMod. Responsibilities include developing LLM-based applications, AI agents, and RAG pipelines, integrating APIs, optimizing system performance, and ensuring code quality through testing and code reviews. The role will work closely with the R&D Lead, product managers, and other engineers to deliver scalable, production-ready AI solutions and contribute to system architecture and technical documentation.

What we need from you

• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience developing backend services (FastAPI or similar).
• Experience building AI applications using LLMs, RAG, or AI agents.
• Experience with REST APIs, SQL, Git, and Docker.
• Familiarity with cloud deployment and CI/CD is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and software engineering practices.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Location: KL Eco City (Hybrid, 2 days on-site per week)
