Job Summary

The Accounts Assistant will manage bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, petty cash, and assist with payroll and audit processes to support smooth financial operations for the export company.

Responsibilities

• Maintain bookkeeping and manage a partial set of accounts to ensure accurate financial records
• Perform bank reconciliation statements to verify and balance company accounts
• Handle petty cash and expense tracking to support financial control
• Assist with office administrative tasks and payroll processing to ensure timely employee payments
• Support audit activities by preparing necessary documentation and information
• Communicate effectively with internal teams to facilitate smooth financial and administrative operations

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma in Accountancy preferred
• Good knowledge of Excel
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience using XERO accounting software preferred for enhanced bookkeeping efficiency
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams

Other Information

• Location: Near Tanjong Pagar, Singapore
• Work Week: Monday to Friday
• Salary: Up to S$2800 per month (negotiable)
