Responsibilities

Location: Remote (Malaysia-based candidates preferred)

Employment Type: Contract / Full-Time

Team: Engineering


We are hiring a Backend Engineer to build scalable APIs and backend services powering our product ecosystem. You will work primarily with TypeScript, NestJS, and Aurora PostgreSQL, contributing to both new feature development and platform improvements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop RESTful APIs and backend services
  • Build scalable applications using TypeScript and NestJS
  • Develop and optimize database schemas in Aurora PostgreSQL
  • Collaborate with frontend, QA, and DevOps teams


Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in backend development
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript, NestJS, PostgreSQL / Aurora
  • Understanding of microservices and distributed systems
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and cloud-based deployments


Nice to Have

  • Experience with AWS services
  • Knowledge of message queues, caching, and event-driven architectures
  • Interest or experience in Web3 / blockchain applications
