We are looking for a hands-on and proactive Operations Executive to support our Retail Operations Manager in the daily running of Floristika’s retail, inventory, plant rental, and back-end operations.

This is an active operational role involving stock handling, retail support, inventory management, and coordination across different departments. The role also requires regular handling of heavy flower boxes, plants, cartons, and supplies, including moving loaded trolleys and assisting with deliveries.

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming flowers, plants, supplies, and other goods.

• Handle and move heavy flower boxes, cartons, plants, and supplies, including assisting with loading and unloading deliveries.

• Push and pull loaded trolleys and move stock between the loading area, cold rooms, storage, preparation areas, and retail floor.

• Perform hydration, trimming, and conditioning of flowers upon arrival.

• Label and stock items accurately using FIFO (First-In-First-Out) practices.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in cold rooms, storage, and preparation areas.

• Set up, replenish, and maintain attractive retail displays with accurate price tags.

• Prepare and pack flowers and foliage for local and export shipments, ensuring quality and proper documentation.

• Conduct regular stock counts and assist with inventory reporting.

• Support walk-in sales fulfilment and ad-hoc packing requests.

• Assist with stock movement and store preparation during peak seasons and high-volume periods.

• Handle enquiries, quotations, and renewals for plant rental clients.

• Coordinate with gardeners, customer service, and purchasing on plant rental requirements, maintenance, and availability.

• Assist with the movement and arrangement of plants for rental orders and events.

• Update product listings, photos, prices, and stock quantities on Shopify and other e-commerce platforms.

• Assist with other operational tasks as assigned by management.

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Operations Management, Logistics, Retail Management, or a related field.

• 2–3 years of experience in operations, logistics, warehouse, or retail.

• Physically fit and comfortable handling heavy boxes, plants, and stock, including pushing and pulling loaded trolleys and assisting with deliveries.

• Able to work in a hands-on, fast-paced environment with frequent movement and standing.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Proactive, responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

• Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office.

• Experience with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms is an advantage.

• Good command of English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin (spoken and written).

• Willing to work on rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

• Interest in flowers, plants, retail, and operations is an advantage.
