Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the production team, including Group Leaders and team members, to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
Take overall responsibility for assigned box-build products, ensuring production output, quality, delivery, and operational performance meet business and customer requirements.
Monitor production performance, work-in-process (WIP), manpower utilization, material availability, and other key operational indicators, and take appropriate actions to address gaps or issues.
Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to Group Leaders and team members to ensure effective team performance and development.
Ensure employees are adequately trained, qualified, and competent to perform their assigned tasks in accordance with applicable procedures and work instructions.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Planning and other relevant functions to resolve production, material, quality, and process issues.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, efficiency, quality, yield, cost, and overall manufacturing performance.
Ensure production activities are carried out in compliance with approved procedures, work instructions, and applicable quality and regulatory requirements.
Prepare, review, and maintain production reports, including production output, WIP status, material status, and other required operational reports.
Ensure the production area is maintained in a clean, organized, and safe condition in accordance with 5S and company requirements.
Promote and maintain a strong safety culture by identifying and reporting unsafe acts and conditions and ensuring appropriate corrective actions are taken.
Ensure compliance with applicable Quality Management System, Environmental Management System, and regulatory requirements, including ISO 13485, ISO 14001, FDA requirements, and other applicable regulations.
Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and systems.
Job requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or other relevant disciplines.
Experience in leading or supervising production teams, including Group Leaders, Supervisors, or production operators.
Minimum 3–5 years of manufacturing experience, with hands-on experience in box-build manufacturing or system-level assembly.
Experience in medical device or other highly regulated manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of production planning, capacity management, manpower utilization, WIP management, and production performance.
