This role involves leading sales activities across a portfolio of hotels, with responsibility for increasing overall sales volume and developing strategic sales initiatives. You will work with both government and corporate clients in MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Events) sales, utilizing internal and external assets to maximize revenues and sales opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Increase overall sales volume and direct revenue generating activities and processes within the portfolio of hotels
• Develop sales strategies and utilize internal and external assets to maximize revenues and sales opportunities
• Provide strategic planning, training and guidance to sales professionals to ensure accomplishment of sales objectives and growth of portfolio
• Provide direct property support and overall sales and marketing efforts of hotels
• Maintain continual awareness of industry trends and competitive practices and changes
• Arrange site inspections of property for potential clients
• Maintain a high level of exposure for the property in the local marketplace through direct sales solicitation, telephone, fax or telex contacts, and written communications

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality or equivalent / higher qualification
• 5 years of relevant sales experience
• Exposure to Government / Corp – MICE Sales
• Preferably from hospitality industry

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
