Job Summary
The Building Construction Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating daily construction activities at the worksite, ensuring that works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved plans, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities and site operations.
• Assign work to workers and subcontractors and monitor their performance.
• Ensure construction works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and schedules.
• Monitor the quality and progress of works and ensure work is completed within the required timeline.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, subcontractors and other site personnel.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify construction issues or defects.
• Ensure proper use of construction materials, tools and equipment.
• Monitor manpower requirements and arrange resources according to project needs.
• Enforce workplace safety procedures and ensure workers comply with site safety requirements.
• Report site progress, delays, defects and other issues to the project management team.
• Maintain proper records of site activities, materials, manpower and work progress.
• Assist in resolving site coordination and technical issues.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the management.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification or experience in building construction.
• Previous experience in a construction supervisory role is preferred.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, site operations and workplace safety.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to supervise workers and subcontractors effectively.
• Willing to work at construction sites and overtime when required.
