Key responsibilities

• Handle full sets of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL) and month-end closing
• Record and maintain daily accounting transactions accurately and systematically
• Prepare and process supplier invoices, customer invoices, payment vouchers, receipts and credit notes
• Monitor and follow up on customer collections and outstanding payments
• Process supplier payments and monitor accounts payable and payment schedules
• Perform bank reconciliations, supplier/customer reconciliations and other balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist in preparing monthly management accounts, financial reports and cash flow reports
• Monitor the company's cash flow, bank balances and daily financial position
• Prepare payment schedules and provide cash flow updates to management
• Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting and variance analysis

About you

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• At least 2–4 years of relevant accounting/finance experience, preferably in an SME or construction/manufacturing environment
• Experience in handling full set accounts is an added advantage
• Familiar with accounting software such as SQL or Autocount or other accounting systems
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
• Good analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
• Meticulous, responsible and able to work independently
• Able to meet deadlines and handle confidential financial information
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
