Key responsibilities:

• Assist in developing product designs, samples, specifications and technical documentation based on customer requirements
• Coordinate product trials, testing and evaluation to ensure products meet quality and technical requirements
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality and other departments during product development and implementation
• Prepare and maintain R&D reports, drawings, product specifications and development records
• Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities related to product design, materials and manufacturing processes
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders on product development requirements when necessary
• Ensure R&D activities are completed according to project timelines and company requirements

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Product Design, Industrial Design, Manufacturing, Automotive or a related field
• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience, preferably in automotive or manufacturing
• Basic technical knowledge and understanding of product development, drawings and manufacturing processes
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Adobe Photoshop is an advantage
• Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
