Role Description The Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kuala Ketil. The Accountant will manage day-to-day finance and accounting activities, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, preparing financial statements, and handling accounts payable and receivable. This role involves monitoring cash flow, assisting with budgeting, tracking expenses, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. The Accountant will support tax and regulatory compliance, coordinate with auditors and external parties, and help implement and improve accounting controls and processes. The role also includes working closely with management to provide financial insights that support business decisions within the printing operations.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and office applications (e.g., Excel, accounting/ERP systems).
  • Ability to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and bank reconciliations accurately.
  • Experience with budgeting, cost tracking, and basic financial analysis for operational decision-making.
  • Understanding of tax regulations, statutory requirements, and compliance procedures in Malaysia.
  • Attention to detail, strong numerical skills, and a high level of integrity in handling financial data.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to organize workloads, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced, production-focused environment.
  • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, printing, or related industries is an added benefit.
