Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and strategic Senior Program Manager to join our Conservation & Science division at WWF-Singapore. In this pivotal non-governmental organization (NGO) leadership role, you will design, execute, and scale multi-stakeholder environmental conservation programs, market transformation projects, and biodiversity protection initiatives across Singapore and Southeast Asia.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Strategy & Execution: Lead end-to-end lifecycle management for regional conservation and sustainability initiatives, ensuring deliverables align with global WWF conservation goals and donor mandates.
- Grant Management & Financial Governance: Oversee multi-million dollar donor grants, funding allocations, field operating budgets, and financial reporting protocols in compliance with institutional donor guidelines and charity governance standards.
- Stakeholder & Government Engagement: Build institutional partnerships with government agencies (e.g., NParks, MSE, EDB), corporate sponsors, academic institutions, and international non-profit coalitions.
- Impact Measurement & Evaluation: Formulate Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) frameworks to track measurable ecological and social impacts across field projects.
- Public Advocacy & Coalition Leadership: Represent WWF-Singapore at national and regional sustainability summits, driving policy advocacy, community outreach, and technical working groups.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainable Development, Public Policy, Conservation Biology, International Relations, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of progressive program management experience within an international NGO, multilateral development organization, civil society institution, or corporate ESG division.
- Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of Southeast Asian biodiversity challenges, climate adaptation strategies, carbon credit mechanisms, and corporate sustainability frameworks (e.g., TNFD, SBTi).
- Grant & Budget Mastery: Proven track record of managing complex institutional grants (e.g., USAID, EU, philanthropic foundations) and multi-year project accounts.
- Leadership & Communication: Strong cross-cultural leadership skills, structured grant-writing capability, and executive presentation presence.
Pay: $8,500.00 - $13,500.00 per month
