City University Malaysia Hiring! Full Time Lecturer - Interior Design (Faculty of Architecture - Built Environment) in Selangor, Earn up to MYR 4,500 - Ricebowl

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, studio sessions, and assessments for undergraduate and diploma programmes.
• Supervise students’ academic projects, studio work, and industrial training where applicable.
• Develop and review teaching materials and curriculum in line with academic and industry standards.
• Participate in research, consultancy, publications, community engagement, and professional development activities.
• Undertake academic administration and other duties assigned by the Faculty and University.

Requirements

• A Master’s Degree in Interior Design or a related Built Environment discipline with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design; or
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant professional experience in the Interior Design field (for applicants without a Master’s qualification).
• Demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D rendering software, and Architecture and Interior Design software.
• Possess good hand sketching and rendering skills.
• Have strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Be passionate about teaching and capable of delivering studio-based learning effectively.
• Prior teaching experience in higher education will be an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
