We are looking for a passionate & motivated individual to join the KLARRA family. As a Barista at KLARRA Cafe, you will embody our commitment to crafting exceptional coffee experiences. Nestled in a cozy corner of our retail space, our newly launched café concept harmoniously blends the inviting aroma of our specialty coffee with an engaging and welcoming shopping environment. You will serve as a key representative of our brand's offline experience. We are looking for a hands-on Cafe Supervisor & Barista who shares our passion for hospitality and is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences while leading our cafe operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the daily operations of the cafe, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Prepare and serve coffee, beverages, and light food items to a consistently high standard.
• Deliver warm, professional customer service and create a welcoming cafe experience.
• Supervise, train, and support cafe team members to maintain high standards of service and product quality.
• Hire part timers, plan staff schedules and ensure adequate manpower coverage.
• Monitor inventory levels, place purchase orders, and ensure adequate stock availability while minimising wastage.
• Ensure food safety, hygiene, cleanliness, and workplace safety standards are consistently maintained.
• Perform opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and daily reconciliation where required.
• Handle customer feedback professionally and resolve issues promptly.
• Work closely with management to improve operations and achieve sales and service targets.
• Assist with cafe promotions, seasonal launches, and other operational initiatives.
• Support the management team with administrative and other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a cafe, coffee, or hospitality environment, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficient in coffee preparation and basic latte art.
• Passionate about customer service with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and lead by example.
• Responsible, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Willing to work weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts.
• Possess a valid Food Hygiene certificate.
