Role Description The Regional Automotive Business Development Manager is a full-time hybrid role based in Kuala Lumpur, with a mix of on-site client engagement and work-from-home flexibility. In this role, the manager will identify and develop new business opportunities across the automotive sector, build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, and promote our client's services. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and qualifying leads, preparing and delivering client proposals and presentations, coordinating projects and negotiating commercial terms in line with company guidelines.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally within the automotive or related industries.
• Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and client-facing skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Solid understanding of regional automotive market dynamics, trends, and key players in the ASEAN region.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to create clear proposals and sales materials.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets in a B2B environment.
• Comfort working in a hybrid setup, managing time and priorities independently while collaborating closely with distributed teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to travel within the region for client meetings, events, and industry networking as required.
