SENIOR FINANCE EXECUTIVE (GL)

Responsibilities

· Maintain and reconcile general ledgers and taxation functions to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, timely month-end closing activities, and effective support of financial operations within a mall retail environment.

· Handling tenant-related financial transaction, tax compliance, reconciliations, and audit coordination

· Manage and maintain General Ledger transactions and ensure proper accounting treatment

· Perform month-end, and year-end closing activities.

· Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments and adjustment entries

· Review and reconcile GL accounts, bank accounts, and intercompany reports, and supporting documents.

· Monitor fixed asset register including additions, disposals, and depreciation

· Perform variance analysis and provide explanations on financial performance

· Monitor tax regulations including e-invoicing implementation and updates.

· Liaise with tax agents and authorities on tax-related matters.

· Support annual tax computation and tax audit requirements.

· Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts

· Monitor and report variances to senior management

Requirement

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, ACCA, CIMA or related field

· Minimum 4 years’ experience in GL and taxation or prior audit experience will be an added advantage

· Good understanding of taxation rules, requirements and practices

· Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

· Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
