About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Site Safety Supervisor to join our project team in Johor Bahru. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment, monitoring site activities and ensuring workers and subcontractors comply with safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with safety rules, company policies and applicable regulations.

• Conduct safety inductions, toolbox meetings and safety briefings.

• Monitor PPE usage and safe working practices on site.

• Conduct regular safety inspections, identify hazards and follow up on unsafe conditions.

• Follow up with supervisors and subcontractors to ensure safety issues are properly addressed.

• Record and report accidents, incidents, near-misses and unsafe conditions and assist in investigations where required.

• Maintain safety records, inspection reports and related documentation.

• Ensure emergency exits, first aid kits and firefighting equipment are available and properly maintained and participate in emergency drills.

• Work closely with the Safety & Health Officer, Project Manager and site teams on safety, audits and compliance matters.

• Support the implementation of QESH policies and continuous safety improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Valid Yellow Book is mandatory.

• 2–3 years of relevant site safety experience, preferably in construction, civil engineering or earthworks.

• Good knowledge of site safety practices and relevant safety regulations.

• Strong communication and coordination skills.

• Proactive, responsible and comfortable working in a hands-on site environment.

• Good reporting and documentation skills.
