Senior Mechanic – Job Scope

1. Service & Maintenance

- Carry out scheduled servicing: engine oil, gearbox, brakes, cooling system, etc.

- Inspect vehicles based on manufacturer specs.

2. Diagnosis & Troubleshooting

- Diagnose mechanical & electrical faults.

- Use diagnostic scanners and workshop tools.

- Advise customers on repair recommendations.

3. Repair & Replacement

- Repair and replace parts: engine, suspension, brakes, steering, AC, etc.

- Ensure work meets safety and quality standards.

4. Quality Control

- Final inspection and test drive if needed.

- Ensure vehicle is safe before handover.

5. Team Leadership

- Guide and supervise junior mechanics.

- Support complex technical issues.

6. Workshop Upkeep

- Maintain cleanliness and proper use of tools/equipment.

- Report damages or parts shortage to management.

7. Communication

- Update Service Advisor/Foreman on job status.

- Explain technical issues to customers when needed.

Main Role: Ensure all repairs and maintenance are done accurately, safely, and on time to support smooth workshop operations

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
