Production Inspector

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Production Inspector to inspect products and production processes to ensure they meet the required quality standards and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished products, raw materials, and in-process products according to established quality standards and specifications.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections using appropriate measuring tools and equipment.
• Identify, record, and report product defects, quality issues, and non-conformities.
• Ensure production output meets the required quality specifications before products are released.
• Monitor production processes and highlight any quality issues to the Production or Quality team.
• Perform inspections according to work instructions, inspection procedures, and quality requirements.
• Maintain accurate inspection records, checklists, and quality reports.
• Segregate and identify rejected or defective products to prevent unintended use or shipment.
• Assist in investigating quality issues and implementing corrective actions when required.
• Ensure inspection tools and equipment are properly handled and maintained.
• Work closely with Production and Quality teams to maintain consistent product quality.
• Follow company safety procedures, quality policies, and workplace regulations.
• Perform other duties related to quality inspection as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
• Certificate/Diploma in Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality Control, or a related field is an advantage.
• Previous experience in production inspection or quality control is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of quality control and inspection procedures.
• Familiar with measuring tools such as vernier caliper, micrometer, or other inspection equipment is an advantage.
• Good attention to detail and able to identify defects accurately.
• Able to read and understand basic drawings, specifications, or work instructions.
• Responsible, disciplined, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willing to work in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Willing to work shifts or overtime when required.

Working Environment

• Full-time position.
• On-site / In Person.
• Work is primarily carried out in a production or manufacturing environment.
• May require standing for extended periods and following production schedules.
