Accounting Executive / Accountant

Job Responsibilities

• Handle full sets of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, management reports and account reconciliations.
• Manage daily accounting transactions, including invoices, payments, receipts and expenses.
• Assist with GST reporting, corporate tax matters and other statutory submissions.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks and other external parties when required.
• Monitor cash flow and ensure timely payments and collections.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
• Assist with payroll-related accounting matters and other finance administration.
• Perform any other accounting and finance duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience in Singapore.
• Experience in full-set accounting is preferred.
• Familiar with Singapore accounting standards, GST and statutory requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks or similar systems is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented, responsible and able to work independently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Candidates with construction or engineering industry experience will have an added advantage.
