About The Company

Our client is a global leader in insurance and financial services, renowned for its strong international footprint, operational excellence, and high-governance environment. With a commitment to compliance and continuous digital transformation, the company offers a stable, high-performance corporate culture for finance and HR professionals.

About The Job

As a Regional Payroll Specialist (Hong Kong Focus) in Chubb's APAC HR Shared Services team, you will take ownership of end-to-end payroll validation, statutory compliance, and vendor coordination for the Hong Kong market.

  • Work Setup: Hybrid (4 days office / 1 day WFH)
  • Location: Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur

Key Responsibilities

  • Consolidate, review, and validate country payroll inputs in coordination with local HR and payroll vendors.
  • Ensure full compliance with Hong Kong statutory requirements, including MPF (Mandatory Provident Fund) contribution logic and ceilings.
  • Oversee Hong Kong statutory tax reporting, including the IR56 series (IR56B, IR56E, IR56F, IR56G) and tax clearance procedures.
  • Apply manual calculation logic for the 713 Ordinance (Average Daily Wage - ADW) across statutory leave, sickness allowance, and final settlements.
  • Leverage Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) to generate monthly payroll reconciliation reports, audit vendor output registers, and identify variances.
  • Navigate HR database engines (MyHR, SQL) and manage internal employee payroll tickets to resolve inquiries promptly.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance and external vendors to execute on-time payouts and precise accounting journal entries.
  • Identify workflow improvements to enhance payroll accuracy and support regional APAC HR transformation initiatives.

About The Manager/team

You will join a dynamic, highly analytical regional APAC payroll team that prides itself on precision, compliance, and technical rigor.

  • The Manager: A detail-oriented, technical leader who values candidate transparency, strong mathematical logic, and audit readiness over simple "button-pushing."
  • Team Culture: Supportive, compliance-focused, and process-driven, offering direct exposure to complex multi-jurisdictional payroll operations and regional stakeholders.
