The Contract Logistics Customer Service Specialist is responsible for managing the day-to-day relationship with one of our key customers within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector.

Based at our Bukit Jelutong office, you'll serve as the primary point of contact between the customer and our warehouse operations, ensuring orders are processed accurately, service expectations are exceeded, and supply chain activities run smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong customer relationships while working in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly to enquiries, requests, and operational issues.
• Manage customer orders from receipt through to warehouse execution, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfilment.
• Proactively communicate order status, inventory updates, and operational issues to customers.
• Prepare and manage operational documentation, including reports, invoices, and system transactions.
• Coordinate customer billing, ensuring supporting documentation is submitted accurately and within agreed timelines.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies while escalating issues where required.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and data quality through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with customer contractual requirements and agreed service level agreements.
• Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, warehouse operations, transport teams, and customers.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in Customer Service, Contract Logistics, Supply Chain, or Warehouse Operations.
• Experience supporting FMCG, retail, or consumer goods customers is highly regarded.
• Strong customer relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Experience using ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (SAP experience is advantageous).
• Strong communication skills in English. Additional languages are an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
