Responsibilities
Company business: This is a Singapore headquartered company specialising in the development, manufacture and distribution of premium skin care, personal care, beauty, health and wellness brands.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the Automation & IT function, managing resources and technical capabilities to support production and business goals.
Own and manage Industry 4.0 and digital manufacturing systems, including ERP, MES, BMS, ASRS, PLCs, and automated equipment.
Lead system installation, commissioning, validation, testing, and troubleshooting for capital projects.
Manage automation and IT projects from scope, budgeting, scheduling, engineering, implementation through testing and verification.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance, system testing, calibration, and critical spare parts strategies.
Investigate system failures, troubleshoot issues, and drive CAPA and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, EHS, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
5–7 years of automation engineering experience, preferably in pharmaceutical, medical, food, or cosmetic manufacturing.
Hands-on experience with ERP, MES, PLC, BMS, Industry 4.0, and plant start-up projects.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
Fluent in English, independent, organized, and able to work under pressure.
