Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems and components to meet project specifications and customer requirements
• Develop electrical products by analyzing customer needs and applying engineering principles
• Evaluate electrical systems and components by designing and implementing testing methods to ensure quality and safety
• Ensure all electrical designs comply with relevant specifications and safety standards
• Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to plan and execute electrical projects effectively
• Prepare detailed product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing technical information
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to electrical systems to maintain operational efficiency
• Provide technical support and guidance on electrical systems to team members and stakeholders
• Manage and plan electrical projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and resource allocation
• Maintain electrical equipment to ensure functionality, safety, and compliance with standards
• Analyze data to assess feasibility, performance, and improvements for new electrical projects
• Oversee the installation and maintenance of electrical systems to ensure proper operation
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technicians to develop their technical skills
• Stay updated on the latest electrical engineering technologies and industry trends to drive innovation

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience with CAD software for circuit design
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
• Experience with project management software
• Familiarity with modern automation and control systems
• Advanced understanding of electrical schematics and blueprints
• Strong background in renewable energy technologies
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience
• Proficiency in electrical engineering software tools
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components
• Solid understanding of safety regulations and protocols
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Good organizational and project management abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
