About the Roles

Join a Material Handling Equipment Supplier as a Control System Engineer (Electrical Control Panels) based in East – Ubi (walking distance from MRT). This permanent position follows a 5-day work week (Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–6:00 PM) and offers a competitive package with Basic Salary + AWS. You will be involved in end-to-end control system engineering work, from design and programming to commissioning and support across diverse projects.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage end-to-end integration engineering activities for control system projects.
• Design and develop electrical circuits from concept through detailed engineering and programming stages.
• Program and configure PLCs using Siemens, AB, Omron, and Mitsubishi platforms.
• Execute installation, start-up, testing, and commissioning of electrical control panels both in-house and at customer sites.
• Prepare and calculate full costing for control panel solutions across assigned projects.
• Conduct operational and maintenance training for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Develop Operation and Maintenance manuals for completed systems and projects.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair issues related to delivery systems.
• Work independently across workshop and on-site environments.
• Coordinate with owners, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure project delivery meets customer requirements and engineering standards.
• Prepare and submit accurate project documentation and reports on time.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• Diploma in Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation, or Instrumentation Control System Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in design and troubleshooting of Electrical Control Panels and PLC Programming.
• Experience with material handling equipment or weighing systems will be an advantage.
• Hands-on experience in servicing and troubleshooting similar systems is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret schematic, electrical, and mechanical diagrams.
• Proficiency in Auto-CAD is required.
• Willingness to travel on short notice based on project requirements.
