### Assistant Sales Manager — Roles & Responsibilities
#### Role Summary
Responsible for supporting the Sales Manager in driving revenue, managing key accounts, coordinating between sales and service teams, and supervising sales staff. The Assistant Sales Manager helps convert leads, maintain customer relationships, prepare commercial proposals, and ensure sales targets and service commitments are met.
### Core Responsibilities
- **Sales Execution: ** Support the Sales Manager in achieving monthly and annual sales targets; follow up on leads, prepare quotations, and close deals.
- **Account Management: ** Maintain relationships with key customers; act as primary contact for assigned accounts; ensure contract terms and SLAs are met.
- **Sales Planning & Reporting: ** Assist in sales forecasting, pipeline management, and preparing weekly/monthly sales reports and dashboards.
- **Proposal & Contract Support: ** Draft and review commercial proposals, service agreements, and renewal documents; coordinate internal approvals.
- **Cross‑Functional Coordination: ** Work closely with Service, Operations, and Finance to ensure smooth handover of projects, timely invoicing, and fulfilment of service obligations.
- **Pricing & Negotiation: ** Support pricing strategy, discount approvals, and commercial negotiations within delegated authority.
- **Customer Visits & Presentations: ** Conduct site visits, product demonstrations, and technical briefings with customers and prospects.
- **Sales Team Supervision: ** Coach and mentor junior sales staff; assign leads, monitor performance, and ensure accurate CRM updates.
- **Market Intelligence: ** Gather competitor and market information; identify upsell/cross‑sell opportunities and feed insights into product and pricing decisions.
- **Customer Experience: ** Ensure high customer satisfaction by resolving escalations, coordinating rapid responses, and following up on service outcomes.
