About Dayos
We run enterprise business. Literally. Hero, our platform, logs into Oracle, Workday and SAP, does the work, and validates the output. Not a dashboard. Not a copilot. Not another "AI assistant." At a Singapore enterprise, Hero closed 9 of 10 tickets that had been sitting for three weeks, in roughly 10 minutes each.
Enterprises spend billions supporting Oracle, Workday and SAP. Most of it is still manual work handled by armies of consultants. We're turning more of it into software every week. Three years building, enterprise customers in production, and now we're closing our seed round and building the Singapore team from the ground up. We're the AI-first version of the systems integrators and application management firms that have owned this space for decades.
The Role
We're hiring our first Solutions Engineer to build the technical sales function at Dayos. Our founder runs the close. You run the room on everything technical.
You own the technical sales motion end to end. Every enterprise conversation past the first meeting has you in the room: demos that hold up in real Oracle, Workday and SAP tenants, POCs scoped against real customer data, and the questions CIOs and IT architects actually ask before they sign.
This is not a pure IC pre-sales role. You're one of two people on every strategic account. You'll also inherit and grow our SDR team, three SDRs to start and more as we scale. You coach them on outbound, run weekly pipeline reviews, hire the next cohort, and be the reason they hit quota.
You're not slotting into a mature sales function. You're building it. The demo library, the POC framework, the technical objection playbook and the qualification bar the SDRs work from all start with you.
This will be demanding. Enterprise buyers ask questions no marketing slide prepared you for. Custom demos are due in days, not weeks. We'll give you unusual responsibility early, and expect you to grow into it quickly.
What You'll Do
- Own the technical sales motion end to end: discovery, custom demos, POC design, RFP responses, objection handling and integration validation
- Build demos that hold up in real Oracle, Workday and SAP tenants. Not scripted screenshots, not video-only. Live agent output against real data
- Scope and run POCs: match customer data to the right agent capabilities, define measurable outcomes and drive to a decision
- Partner with the founder on every enterprise deal. You own the technical case, he runs the close
- Lead and coach the SDR team: weekly pipeline reviews, call reviews, hiring the next cohort and defending the team's targets
- Translate customer requests into scoped work for engineering: custom agents, new integrations, edge cases the platform doesn't handle yet
- Feed win/loss detail and technical objections straight back to product and marketing
- Build the technical sales playbook that scales past you: demo library, POC framework, competitive teardowns and the bar for the next SE hires
Who You'll Work With
You'll work directly with our founder on every strategic account: twenty-plus years in Oracle consulting running enterprise implementations at Fortune 500 companies, then Finance Engineering at Robinhood through its IPO. He runs the room on business and executive relationships. You run it on everything technical.
You'll also lead our first SDR cohort, exceptional graduates running outbound against named APAC enterprise accounts. On the engineering side, you'll partner closely with our Forward Deployed Engineers and product team. When a prospect asks for something we haven't built, you translate it into a scoped POC or a product ask.
What Success Looks Like
- First 30 days: onboarded on Hero, our ICP, the pipeline and the SDR team. Sitting in on every active deal. Owning the pipeline review cadence
- First 90 days: running technical discovery and custom demos alongside the founder. First POC scoped and launched. SDR team clear on your bar for a technically qualified opportunity
- First 6 months: predictable POC-to-close conversion. SDR team hitting monthly customer targets under your coaching. Technical sales playbook documented
- First 12 months: the technical case is airtight and repeatable across the team. Second SE hired against real demand. You're the reason the sales function scales
What You Bring
- 5+ years in enterprise pre-sales or solutions engineering, ideally at an AI company
- 2+ years demoing agentic or generative AI to enterprise buyers. You can tell in five minutes whether a demo will land
- Deep technical fluency with modern AI: LLMs, agent frameworks, prompt engineering, tool calling, RAG and evaluation. Not as a user, but as someone who can architect and explain them to a skeptical CIO
- Technical lead on six-figure ACV deals with Fortune 500 or regional enterprise buyers. You know what the CTO, the security team and procurement each ask
- Willing to take on people leadership. You'll manage a small SDR team, coach them on outbound and hire the next cohort. If you've done it before, great. If not, you're eager to grow into it
- Comfortable in a founding role. No mature playbook exists yet, and you'll help write it. Ambiguity doesn't slow you down
- Charisma and hustle. You hold your own with CIOs and CFOs, and can coach an SDR through an objection the same afternoon
- Bonus: Oracle, Workday or SAP exposure, as a customer, integrator or seller
Compensation and Benefits
- Base plus variable tied to enterprise deal outcomes and team performance, designed to compete with the top SE offers in APAC AI
- Meaningful founding-team equity. Your stake reflects that this is the technical sales leadership seat, not an early IC hire
- Regional exposure: customers across Southeast Asia, North America and Europe. Regional travel is a core part of the role
- Unlimited PTO, plus Singapore public holidays
- Comprehensive medical coverage
- CPF contributions for eligible employees
- Whatever equipment you need to do the job well
Eligibility
Singapore Citizens, PRs and valid work-pass holders welcome. Start date immediate or by arrangement. This role reports directly to the founder.
Interview Process
- Founder screen, 45 minutes: align on the role, your background and the technical sales motion at Dayos
- Demo exercise, 60 minutes: demo a Dayos capability back to us against a scenario. How you frame value, handle questions and drive to a next step
- Technical deep-dive, 60 minutes: architecture, POC design, and the three hardest technical objections we hear on Oracle and Workday deals
- Team leadership conversation, 45 minutes: coaching philosophy, hiring bar, and how you'd run a weekly pipeline review with a new SDR team
- References and offer
