Role Description The Certified Personal Trainer is a full-time, on-site role based in Kuala Lumpur, responsible for designing and delivering customized fitness programs for a diverse client base. Day-to-day tasks include conducting fitness assessments, creating individualized workout plans, leading one-on-one and small group training sessions, and demonstrating proper exercise techniques to ensure safety and effectiveness. The trainer will provide guidance on general lifestyle habits, collaborate with clients on realistic goal-setting, and track progress over time. The role also involves maintaining a clean and organized training space, documenting sessions, and communicating clearly with clients and team members to deliver a consistent, high-quality fitness experience.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Personal Training and Fitness Instruction, with the ability to design safe, effective, and engaging workout programs.
  • Experience with Circuit Training and Sports Coaching to support varied training styles and athletic performance goals.
  • Knowledge of Nutrition principles to provide general guidance that complements training plans and supports client wellness.
  • Relevant certification as a Personal Trainer from a recognized organization (e.g., NASM, ACE, ACSM, or equivalent).
  • Ability to perform and demonstrate exercises safely, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience working with clients of different ages, fitness levels, and backgrounds, with a commitment to inclusivity and professionalism.
  • Basic understanding of health screening, risk factors, and when to refer clients to medical professionals.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed.
