We Are Hiring — IBM ODM/BAW Developer


We are looking for an experienced IBM ODM/BAW Developer to join our team and work permanently with our client in Kuala Lumpur within a stable enterprise environment.


The ideal candidate is an independent professional who can work effectively across different functions, solve complex technical problems, and deliver high-quality solutions in a dynamic environment.



Employment: Full-Time Employment (FTE)

Location: Taman Teknologi MRANTI, Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Working Mode: Hybrid / Onsite


Requirements

  • 5–8 years of hands-on experience in analysis, design, coding, implementation, and support of complex custom-built applications using IBM Workflow / BPM / BAW v20.x, with strong experience in IBM ODM / Rule Designer v8.10.x.
  • Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with Rule Execution Server, Decision Center, Action / Rule Set, BOM/XOM, Decision Tables, Technical Rules, and Rule Flow.
  • Good knowledge of Process Admin, IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS), Java / Java EE, Java Scripting, RDBMS, SQL, API / REST programming, and Git. Experience with IBM MQ, Shell Script, and Batch Script is an advantage.
  • Experience in Agile Software Development is required. Knowledge of IBM ECM, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Cloud will be an added advantage.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent, with strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, ownership, and adaptability skills in a dynamic and culturally diverse environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse business requirements and needs to design, develop, test, deploy, and support applications that meet business objectives.
  • Maintain and support applications in accordance with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Deliver application solutions in compliance with relevant IT policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Analyse and resolve new or complex technical problems that may impact application performance or availability.
  • Collaborate with team members to provide and share technical knowledge and best practices.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of application development and support processes.
  • Undertake other relevant tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management from time to time.
