About the Role:


UOB Kay Hian (M) Sdn. Bhd. is looking for a dedicated Wealth Management Support Manager to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. This full-time role involves supporting wealth management operations, assisting relationship managers, and ensuring smooth client service. The successful candidate will work with various departments to ensure compliance and improve operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide strong leadership, guidance, and direction to the Wealth Management Operations team.
  • Oversee daily investment operations and settlement activities across Unit Trust Funds (UTF), Bonds, and Structured Products.
  • Act as the key escalation point for operational issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Supervise rising transaction volumes and ensure smooth, accurate, and timely execution of all trades and instructions to Fund House.
  • Monitor operational risks and implement controls to maintain high service quality.
  • Support business expansion initiatives by ensuring operational readiness and scalability.
  • Review, develop, and standardize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to strengthen internal controls and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Drive continuous process improvements, including automation and system enhancements.
  • Liaise with regulators, auditors, and internal stakeholders on operational and regulatory matters.
  • Prepare reports for regulatory submissions and management review.
  • Ensure adherence to IT security policies and promptly report any security incidents.
  • Supervise and support team members in handling client and internal queries.
  • Coordinate corporate action events with Fund House.
  • Support ad-hoc projects and strategic initiatives assigned by senior management.


 Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in wealth management operations, investment operations, or settlement.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of financial products (UTF, Bonds, Structured Products) and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in SOP development, process improvement, and system enhancement initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High level of integrity and commitment to governance and compliance.
