Responsibilities
Lead complex technology projects across trading systems, partnering with engineers and stakeholders to improve delivery, automation and processes while leveraging technical expertise and innovative AI tools.
What You’ll Do:
Lead complex technology projects from inception through production, working closely with engineering teams and cross-functional stakeholders. You’ll bring structure to delivery, identify dependencies, manage risks and help teams execute high-impact initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Establish project goals, deliverables, timelines and priorities.
- Track progress, dependencies, risks and delivery gaps.
- Coordinate feature and functionality rollouts across engineering teams.
- Develop and maintain project plans using tools such as Jira.
- Enhance project management tools using AI-driven solutions.
- Identify process improvements and provide strategic problem-solving.
- Maintain alignment across multiple teams and competing priorities.
- Mentor junior technical project managers.

About You:
You'll have 5+ years managing software development projects with engineering teams, and you'll have done it inside a trading firm or financial services environment.
You’ll have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to understand complex technical concepts. Strong cross-functional communication is essential, as you’ll need to translate detailed technical information for diverse stakeholders.
You should also be comfortable with programming or scripting, command-line environments and established project management methodologies. A proactive, organised approach and the ability to manage competing priorities will help you thrive.
