Banquet Chef Job Description (JD)

Position: Banquet Chef
Department: Food & Beverage / Kitchen
Reports To: Executive Chef / Sous Chef

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute banquet menus according to event requirements.
• Prepare, cook, and present food for large-scale functions.
• Supervise banquet kitchen staff and delegate duties effectively.
• Ensure food quality, taste, portion control, and presentation standards.
• Coordinate with banquet managers, event planners, and service teams to ensure smooth event execution.
• Monitor food inventory, ordering, and stock rotation.
• Maintain hygiene, sanitation, HACCP, and food safety standards.
• Control food costs, minimize waste, and manage kitchen budgets.
• Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff.
• Handle last-minute event changes and guest dietary requirements efficiently

Pay: $2,500.00 - $3,500.00 per month
