Job Purpose:

To lead coordination between Internal construction team or Subcontractor with KTMB to ensure effective operations of the construction activities at the site with the objective achieving the program and meeting health, safety, environment and quality objectives.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Responsible for preparing materials delivery schedule and obtaining approvals from Procurement departments.
• Prepare site and conduct Sub-contractors’ co-ordination meeting and Minutes of Meetings.
• Monitor the performance of sub-contractors on site to enhance the efficiency and maximize standby resources on site. Communicate with the head of each team regarding progress performance on site.
• Coordinate with engineering team to ensure deliverables were submitted within a timeframe. Compile all the reports from site for Civil works.
• Draft and issue a letter or memo to the client regarding any contract obligations.
• Prepares schedules for line blocks related to all track works like CRO movements.
• Prepare Site dairy records from site.
• Prepares Method statements and Presentations, Prepare materials requirements for all activities in his jurisdiction.
• Supervises all rehab works Infra, Culverts Drainage, fencing works, and construction works carried out by our own and other sub-contractors. Performs all activities for commissioning and responsibility as Engineering Supervisor to complete works as per safe work procedures and completes in allocated time frames. Responsible for preparing all construction and commissioning records and getting those certificates duly signed by KTMB, QAQC & Consultants.
• Assists Construction Manager for culvert, bridges and flood mitigation for all other activities as required. Responsible, planned, and prepared the arrangement for the operation of works train.
• To monitor and schedule of tamping work sequence.
• Checking and ensure of Contractors' adequacy and competency of resources on-site and off-site.
• Provide technical support to the Subcontractor and DMIA internal team.
• Performs all activities for commissioning and responsibility as Engineering Supervisor to complete works as per safe work procedures and completes in allocated time frames.
• Take lead for any joint inspection with QAQC, Consultants, KTMB, MOT etc.
• Responsible for preparing all construction and commissioning records and getting those certificates duly signed by KTMB, QAQC & Consultants.
• Monitored all rehab works Infra and Track, Culverts Drainage, fencing works, and construction works carried out by our own and other sub-contractors.
• To plan and control the quantity of track material.
• Follows all instructions of CM, PM & GM sincerely and satisfactorily.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of working experience in the Construction Industry.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
• Proven experience in managing culvert, station, bridge, flood control, or mitigation projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, engineering principles, and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
