Job Summary
Responsible for monitoring and maintaining CCTV and related security systems to ensure continuous, reliable and effective operation. The role combines CCTV surveillance, basic technical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and coordination with CCTV vendors and contractors. The position also supports access control, alarm and other security/ELV systems, while ensuring incidents, maintenance activities and technical works are properly documented and comply with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. CCTV Monitoring & Operations
- Monitor CCTV systems and identify suspicious activities, incidents and security risks.
- Operate CCTV, DVR/NVR and surveillance software.
- Review recorded footage and provide information for investigations when required.
- Prepare daily monitoring and incident reports.
2. CCTV Maintenance & Technical Support
- Conduct routine checks to ensure CCTV cameras and recording systems are functioning properly.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs with guidance from the CCTV vendor.
- Check IP cameras, PoE switches, LAN connections and storage/recording systems.
- Respond to CCTV technical issues and follow up on corrective actions.
3. Vendor & Contractor Coordination
- Coordinate with CCTV vendors and contractors for installation, servicing, maintenance and repair works.
- Assist vendors during installation, testing, troubleshooting and servicing activities.
- Follow up on outstanding technical issues and ensure timely completion of work.
- Ensure installation, servicing and reporting activities comply with company standards and procedures.
4. Security Systems Support
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining access control, alarm systems and other security/ELV systems.
- Support basic technical checks and coordination with relevant service providers.
5. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain records of CCTV faults, incidents, maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensure service reports and technical documentation are properly recorded and updated.
- Escalate major faults, security incidents and system failures to the relevant personnel.

Pay: RM2,200.00 per month
